THE BOOK SALE – OUR GRATITUDE

Billie and Stewart (2 of our rescue dogs back for a visit to help others in need) with their human companions Jill and Phil at the Book Sale on Wednesday, 12th July.

We had a wonderful response for our first fundraising sale at the shop since the pandemic. Thank you to one and all for such marvellous generosity.
Everyone picked up some bargain books and lots of other items at rock bottom prices. Wednesday was also one of our busy training days and shoppers were able to catch sight of Peter and myself giving lessons in the sand-school.

Our shop is now open 5 days per week and you can be sure of a welcome.

We are extremely grateful for the support given to us and it helps us to pay for the care of all of the rescued animals. In particular, this month, as well as minor routine issues, we have had 2 bitches spayed and corrective eye surgery for one of the dogs (a costly operation).

CACS NATIONAL BREED SHOW – CHATEAUBRIANT 1 JULY 2023

Okinawa and Reboot sporting their rosettes – Chateaubriant July 2023

Okinawa and Reboot train in obedience and agility at Grande Daze and we are proud to say that they are both national champions for their respective breeds:

At the national show held at Chateabriant in July Okinawa achieved:

2nd Excellent, RCACS – Standard Bull Terrier

and Reboot gained 1st Excellent RCACS for her breed.

OKINAWA is the only Standard Bull Terrier who has trained to participate in Agility compétitions; she has passed the necessary Obédience test and achieved her Agility pass. In September she will compete in her first Agility compétition as part of the Canin Club Grande Daze Agility and Education Team.
