Here at Grande Daze we are proud to help the animals who are not so lucky in life as the ones who visit for boarding or training. We take in dogs and cats of all ages.
WE ARE NOT FOR SALE! WE ARE PRICELESS!
NO PARADES. NO BEAUTY PAGEANTS. NO LISTS. NO MUGSHOTS.
We have emotions. We respond well to kindness. We fear cruelty and harsh words.
We need special consideration because we have been treated very badly or found ourselves in difficult circumstances.
At Grande Daze we are taken care of. Anita and Peter are kind. We are well fed and receive health care. Our well being is very costly and kind people raise funds to pay for our keep.
We may have found a home and our people gave a donation to the Rescue Centre. This money paid for our care and health needs during our stay at the Centre. Our friends will benefit from this funding while they await their special home. The donation was not payment for any one of us. WE ARE NOT FOR SALE like a slave or a pair of shoes, a doorbell or a specimen in a jar.
Those of you who are regular supporters will, no doubt, have noticed that, “€2 will feed a border collie sized dog for 1 week or 1 cat for 2 weeks”. This is rapidly becoming our mantra. It’s rather like the widow’s mite!
We would appreciate anything you are able to donate please? You can give by cheque made payable to Grande Daze Rescue or cash at the Centre. You can also make a DONATION by PayPal https://www.facebook.com/animalcompanioncentre/on our FaceBook page.
We have a shop where you can find something for as little as €2, to help pay our expenses. All of the proceeds go towards vets bills, food and our general welfare.
As little as €2 will feed a border collie sized dog for one week or 1 cat for 2 weeks!

Our GD’s shop has now closed and Veronica and Celia have retired. We thank them for their efforts and support.

are the only benevoles now authorised to sell on behalf of Grande Daze Rescue or display our logo.
NO ONE else is authorised by us and cannot raise funds by selling on their own Website or Facebook pages on our behalf. We are grateful to anyone wishing to hold an event or sell on our behalf but we must be informed. Use of our logo and name is an offence if you don’t have our permission. As of September and up to date there is no-one, except those listed above, authorised to use our name or is fund raising on our behalf. We will advertise on our own Facebook pages and our Website the fundraising that we, or anyone else, undertakes.
We are concerned that our supporters may fall victims to scam fundraising and we value every cent or item donated to us. We report to Facebook anyone we find using our logo and name without our permission.
