SYMBIOSIS or “A DAY OUT WITH YOUR DOG”

Humans and dogs are social animals and enjoy sharing activities together.

I’m sure that as you read this article your spirits will lift. Humans and dogs are social animals and enjoy sharing activities together. Recently the activities of walking and talking have come to the fore in a most pleasing way and includes the eating element for us humans.

Grande Daze is enjoying the fundraising and advertising support of the Tea Room, ‘Le Patis’, where you can view paintings and crafts by local people and Grande Daze artists and crafts people. Many of our friends and clients are customers of ‘Le Patis’ and eagerly recommend a visit to enjoy the delicious food served in the tastefully decorated tea room.

At Grande Daze, as well as boarding, grooming and training we have a dog walking area where you can walk with your dog on and off the lead. Get together with your friends to book a session and you can enjoy conversation while you and your dogs get exercise. Having tired the dogs at a training session or a walk you can then browse in our onsite shop for that something you didn’t know you needed but can’t do without.

After your bargain hunt you may prefer to take your dog home before meandering along the country roads to Landivy, “Le Patis” Salon de The for lunch, a cream tea or afternoon tea (depending on the time of day). Of course, at this stage in your day out, if your dog still accompanies you, it will be necessary for a short stroll and a drink for the dog before you go for your meal inside accompanied by your dog, or, you might even like to eat outside under the awning with your dog at your feet.

You can be sure of a warm welcome from Jon and Jason, Proprietors of Le Patis. Once ensconced at your table you can indulge your taste buds with cakes, sandwiches and other delights made in-house by Jon and served to you by their friendly waitress Claire. When you have tasted the sweet and savoury flavours and mind blowing textures of his cooking it is obvious that baking is a labour of love for Jon. In his words, “When I bake I am in another world, there’s no stress just the all consuming aromas of combining wonderful ingredients. The process is creative, like an artist painting a picture”. It is delicious food!

Of course, you can enjoy your day out in reverse order and walk off the calories gained from your too good to resist indulgence of those Le Patis gastronomic delights!

Anita and Peter and Jon and Jason would love to see you at their respective establishments!
